Today's the day when the absentee ballots are distributed by mail. Here in Placer County, 56% of voters cast their ballots by mail.
The last day to request a Vote-By-Mail ballot is seven days prior to an election, or Oct.26 for registered voters. The vote by mail application is available here:
If you are not registered to vote, you have until Oct. 18.
