Lincoln Bypass info is just a click away

The City of Lincoln announces that State Route 65 Lincoln Bypass now has an official website, http://www.lincolnbypass.com/, which is designed to keep the public informed and up-to-date on project progress and construction activity.

"The Lincoln Bypass is an important economic project for residents, local businesses and the City of Lincoln," said Lincoln Mayor Tom Cosgrove. "Our goal is to respond to residents' questions and get the word out about construction activity to minimize the impact of the work on our residents and businesses."

At the website visitors can review the latest news on project-related work, view the schedule of improvements, review project documents and sign up for an email update list. PCTPA is working closely with Caltrans , the project lead, to provide regular updates on all activity related to the Bypass.

The website is part of an ongoing effort by the Placer County Transportation Planning Agency to raise awareness of the project, which is scheduled for completion in 2012, and its progress.

The site will be regularly updated with news on the Lincoln Bypass; visitors can also sign up for an email distribution list.

In addition, the Placer County Transportation Planning Agency website has been redesigned to offer visitors with easier navigation.
