Lincoln: Traffic now open on newly realigned Dowd Road

From the City of Lincoln:

Traffic is now permanently re-routed to the newly realigned Dowd Road near Sheridan, located between Dalby Road and Riosa Road.

The old Dowd Road will be demolished as part of construction on the Lincoln Bypass project, and motorists in the area should look for detour signs to familiarize them with the new Dowd Road location. The Lincoln Bypass project is scheduled for completion in 2012.
