As expected, the cowboy boots and hats were aplenty Friday when Grammy winner and country performer Trace Adkins took the Thunder Valley Outdoor Amphitheater stage.
The showman didn't disappoint, although it took an hour to really get the bluesy show going. Adkins, who makes women swoon with an Elvis-esque tilt of his hips, apologized for that and even thanked the audience for sticking around through the first half of the set as they probably didn't know the songs. But he said he spent a lot of money recording them so someone needed to hear them.
