Sacramento French Film Festival to show movie short shot in Placer Co



Placer County has gone Hollywood according to the following story released by a county spokesperson today.

“Bee,” an award-winning short film shot entirely in Placer County, will be shown at the Sacramento French Film Festival on Saturday.

The film will be presented during a short film program that is scheduled to be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Crest Theatre in Sacramento.

“Bee” looks at the disappearance of honeybees in the United States and how it affects one small farmer and his family. It is by Folsom-based French filmmaker Raphael Hitzke and includes original music by award-winning composer Jean Benoit Dunckel (“Lost in Translation”).
