Placer County Supervisors recognize Eagle Scouts

A spokesperson for Placer County today announced that six young men from Placer County were honored Tuesday by the Board of Supervisors for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scout program.

The six Eagle Scouts from Placer County are:

  • Thomas Martin
  • Jarrett McBride
  • Arpan Rajan
  • Nathan Woodruff
  • Trevor Fischer
  • Luke Summer

“I want to commend six of our local Boy Scouts who have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout,” said Supervisor Jack Duran, whose First District includes Roseville, in his comments to the Scouts.

Supervisor Kirk Uhler, who earned his Eagle Scout rank 29 years ago, welcomed the Scouts to the rank of Eagle. He told them that they would always be Eagle Scouts and that their journey was just beginning.
