Dan Logue: Just say no to High Speed Rail


Assemblyman Dan Logue urged voters to speak out against the Legislature’s attempt to authorize the start of the High Speed Rail Project. The majority Democrats passed SB 1029 through the Assembly today to authorize the High Speed Rail Authority to begin construction.

“Right after they cut funding to schools and made dangerous changes to the state’s healthcare system by forcing children into the Medi-Cal program, the majority party wants to write a check for $8 billion to build a high speed rail to nowhere,” said Logue. “This will only force more cuts to important programs next year.”
