Placer County young adults looking for a job but lacking much-needed skills and facing some difficult personal challenges may be eligible for services and new paid internships intended to get them ready for the workforce.
PRIDE Industries’ Youth Services Program assists 17- to 21-year-old, out-of-school residents of Placer County who are facing at least one barrier to employment, such as being a high school dropout, a foster child, fighting substance abuse or dealing with mental health problems. They must also meet income requirements.
