Assemblyman Dan Logue,who represents Colfax and North Auburn, responded to the passage of a bill that would force local law enforcement to ignore federal law and release an illegal immigrant that has been arrested under suspicion of committing a crime.
Assembly Bill 1081 passed the full Assembly with Logue and fellow Republicans opposing the bill.
"The security of our borders is at stake and this bill takes us down a dangerous road," Logue said.Read more »
