Kings’ Announcer Scott Moak to Emcee KidsFirst’s 15th Annual Putting Children 1st Awards Luncheon A Blue Tie Affair


On April 4, 2013, King’s Announcer Scott Moak will be honoring individuals and organizations whose words and actions have made an extraordinary difference in the lives of children in Placer County. To bring awareness about child abuse and prevention, Kids First has been hosting this community event and awards luncheon for 15 years every April during National Child Abuse and Prevention Month. 

The luncheon will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Rocklin Event Center, 2650 Sunset Boulevard, Rocklin from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. KidsFirst, formerly known as The Child Abuse Prevention Council of Placer County, holds this event to promote awareness about child abuse and its prevention. April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and is designated by a blue ribbon. All attendees this year are encouraged to wear their favorite blue in honor of child abuse prevention month.
