Placer County filmmaker highlights Transcontinental Railroad

The Transcontinental Railroad has long been a source of wonder and awe. Documentary filmmaker and Placer County resident Bill George will present his 30-minute film on the Transcontinental Railroad from Sacramento to Donner Summit on Saturday at 1 p.m. on the second floor of the Bernhard Museum Winery.


He will follow with a brief presentation on the history of the railroad and the making of the film. The program is free.  

The Bernhard Museum Winery is located at 291 Auburn-Folsom Road, Auburn.
