Partners in crime prevention: Sierra College and Rocklin PD offer catalytic converter etching

The Rocklin Police Department and the Sierra College Auto Club are partnering with local businesses and organizations to host free catalytic converter etching on Nov. 3 at the Sierra College Auto Shop, 5000 Rocklin Road (map).

Vehicle license plate numbers etched onto catalytic converters can provide police with the information needed to identify stolen property, contact victims, and apprehend and prosecute criminals.

Please call the Rocklin Police Department at (916) 625-5418 to schedule an appointment. Provide your name, telephone number, vehicle make, model and license plate number. Etching will take about a half an hour to complete.
