Hearing continues for controversial housing development in Loomis
The Placer County Board of Supervisors heard testimony from more than 20 people Thursday before deciding to complete its public hearing on the Orchard at Penryn project during a regularly scheduled meeting on Nov. 6.
The public hearing will resume at 1 p.m. on Nov. 6. The meeting will take place in the Board of Supervisors
The board held a three-hour special meeting Thursday to conduct a public hearing on two appeals that seek to overturn Planning Commission approval of the Orchard at Penryn, a proposed 150-unit multi-family residential project. It would be built on 15 acres at the west side of Penryn Road just north of Interstate 80.
