Festival of Trees Preview Event 
Thursday, Nov. 15 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Westfield Galleria, Roseville

Local charities will compete in a creative tree decorating contest. These trees will be unveiled and the community will vote on their favorite, the charity with the most votes will receive a $1,500 cash prize! The new Santa decor set will be unveiled with holiday entertainment, a DJ and Santa photos gift with purchase!









Mountain Mandarin Festival
Nov. 16, 17 & 18, 2012
Gold Country Fairgrounds, Auburn

The 19th Annual Mountain Mandarin Festival kicks off the Mandarin season. Hosting 25 food vendors, 17 local growers, 175 crafts and commercial vendors, 5 stages of entertainment, recipe contest and guest chefs teaching cooking classes using Mandarins. There's a new Mini Mandarin Grove feature for kids which will include new kiddie rides, magic acts, Mandarin contest and entertainment. Website






51st Annual Sylvia Besana Holiday Parade
Saturday, Nov. 17 at 3 p.m.
Downtown Roseville

Kick-off the holiday season on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. with the annual Holiday Parade. Bring your family and friends out early to stake out your favorite viewing area along the parade route which begins at the Vernon/Riverside/Douglas intersection, proceeds east along Vernon Street, turns right at Folsom Road and ends behind Roseville Square Shopping Center.Sponsored by the Roseville Chamber of Commerce. Flyer

Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration
Saturday, Nov. 17 at 6:00 p.m.
Downtown Roseville, Civic Center

Downtown Roseville following the holiday parade, let's "deck the halls" at the Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration. Mayor Pauline Roccucci and friends will flip the switch to light the tree at 6:30 p.m. Shortly after the tree is lit, we are expecting a visit from Santa Claus. The evening's festivities also include crafts, cookie decorating and musical entertainment. Be sure to bring your camera!


Roseville's official Christmas Tree is located directly across from the Civic Center at 311 Vernon St. Portions of Vernon Street will be closed for the Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration and the preceding parade. Many businesses on Vernon Street will be open so come to shop, dine and have fun!  Website


Fountains Tree Lighting Ceremony 
Sunday, Nov. 18 at 5:00 p.m.
The Fountains Shopping Center, Roseville

Join us for our Tree Lighting. We'll have caroling, Stand Out Talent musical performances, an appearance by Cinderella and Prince Charming and more surprises. Also, you may ride a vintage wagonette (weather permitting) from 2:30-5:00 for $3 a person. Tickets at guest services.








Kids Sing: Free Concert at Maidu Library
